In classic fashion, the article doesn't get to the root of what I'm trying to learn about, which is official documentation about "Power Pairings". The article mentions it, but not helpfully. EL uses them, but I can't find much else!

This is basically a thing in some rhythm games already! They do a little minigame thing at the start and it calibrates to the combined latency/reaction time of your device+you.

It made me think of A Dance of Fire and Ice instantly!

Also had this judge call (at least compared to others in the venue) in my match against affinity.

Not a very successful weekend for me in Charlotte, but I had a lot of fun and I think my deck is the real deal! Losses were my fault, not the deck's. 0-4-1 in the RC, 3-0 in a side event, 4-3-1 in the 10k all with colorless prison.

My only regret is picking prowess in pio, not great against the field and I wasn't that comfortable with it. I should have stuck to midrange since that's my comfort zone.

I almost definitely saw Pokemon or something else that made it to the "normal cartoon" status in the US first, but the first thing other than that sure was a classic.
