I get exceedingly cross about the timing thing. And the ridiculous technical ‘recipes’ that give them sod-all information and then add a random twist to a classic recipe. Just why 🤷‍♀️.
I enjoy watching lottiegotcake (gbbo 2020) on instagram. That seems more realistic baking to me.

Had it been ascorbic acid instead it would probably have improved the bake. So unlucky.

I think I would like it if people said ‘I hope it becomes more manageable soon’ - that’s what we strive for everyday isn’t it? It’s always going to be there and the best we can hope for is that we have days when it gets a little easier to live with it.
