I almost have more followers on this site, in a couple of hours, than I do on the old site. Enjoying the new digs.

If anyone out there has suggestions or ideas on how to fix the problems of rural Nebraskans and how Democrats can reach out to these voters, I’d love to have the conversation.

What if a congressional candidate took the time to travel the 3rd district and just listened to the people? Figure out what problems people here are facing. Listen to their suggestions. Find common sense solutions and then run on a promise to actually solve their problems.

If companies can pay for young people to go to college in exchange for them promising to come and work for the company after graduation, why couldn’t rural communities do the same in order to ensure that these communities will have needed skilled workers?

What is the Democratic Party offering to rural areas? How do we help small towns find economic success? Help them grow? Help improve the lives of all those who live there? If we could actually offer those solutions, we could win those votes.

When it comes to #NE03, we need someone who can reach out to working class and middle class Republicans and show them that we can find solutions to the actual problems that we all face here if we just worked together toward a common goal (which is what small town life is all about)
