Just watched The Way of Water for the first time. Is it just me, or is Kiri extremely Aerith-coded? Maybe they're both just embodying the same character trope, but I couldn't stop seeing it.

After a couple lucky runs, I managed to roll credits on Blue Prince while still sitting on several unresolved loose ends. Given how much is going on in this game, the ending is reasonably satisfying, but it certainly makes references to things I don’t quite understand yet. Excited to uncover more!

I very much appreciate this post, which speaks clearly and with context about the Muse paper and associated PR. It helps clarify what Muse does and doesn’t do, and what that suggests about the future. This bit is significant: as built, it doesn’t and can’t perform game design in any meaningful way.

Generative AI has a lot of potential use cases, many of which we have yet to discover or fully explore. Automated optimization and recreating classic games for modern platforms both sound cool. But describing an LLM as “understanding” anything is, ironically, a fundamental misunderstanding of AI.
