Everytime they tell you about the 22 million people on benefits, remember that 3/4's 15.5m are Pensioners.

Of the other 1/4 more than 60% work, and severely disabled people do exist in the UK, millions of them.

We have had lots of reviews already in just one day, and it is brilliant to see so many positive experiences being shared.

But it is also sad to see that every Sunshine Support review has been a negative one, especially since it is one of the most used advocacy services.

Just when you think it can’t get any worse! 🤬🤯🤦‍♀️

Just in from DfE: #Autism is no longer a condition that can be confirmed by diagnosis. This is “everyone is a little bit autistic” as a way to imply that we are providing too much support. It’s not even close to the most ridiculous things said here!👇

I'm currently sitting in a cafe in Nottingham. Overheard a man and lady talking a few tables over. The lady mishears something the man says and he gets super defensive. He starts vehemently defending what he said and being condescending. Wtf?! Why are so many men so defensive??

files.ofsted.gov.uk/v1/file/5026... This is what disabled children in Derbyshire have had to put up with for years. The gaslighting, lying, ignoring, dismissing and even fraud has been left unchecked for far too long. The trauma in parents who have chosen to fight is very real.
