One frustrating thing about the way Mandela has been memorialised is that people immortalise him as a benign grandpa who wanted everyone to hold hands instead of the absolute fucking revolutionary that he was. Mandela sacrificed more in a single lifetime than most of the world put together.
On this day in 1990, Nelson Mandela was released from prison after 27 years. First incarcerated in 1963, Madiba spent the next two decades imprisoned on Robben Island.

Oooh, do not skip, UMngazi , there by Port St John’s, and a dip at Isinuka healing springs…and while you’re in the region, take a quick short left to Mbotyi River Lodge… (you might want to use a 4x4 though).
I grew up in Gqeberha and I still haven't really been any wilder than Cintsa. I should rectify this. Please send suggested itinerary.

Happy to report Dimple has bonded with her baby. The lamb is now able to get milk from her & doesn’t need supplements anymore 🥰

Hanslammer 🥹 My favourite sheep Dimple gave birth to twins on Monday. Her first babies & she’s quite delayed compared to her peers. Unfortunately she rejected her lambs. One died 😭Now we’re hand rearing the surviving lamb. #farmlife
