Anytime there is a flood in the continental US, it is the biggest story across all social media.
Apparently, the same as not true for a catastrophe in Alaska. There was a typhoon yesterday morning and much of western Alaska is now underwater with homes with people in them just floating away.

Seriously, y’all. This is great advice. I’m volunteering with a local group to help plan gardening workshops with a community garden.
Gardening gives you a sense of autonomy over your food. It’s therapeutic. It helps you learn so much from chemistry to biology to art. Go garden together!!

Every block should have a community garden… I was just talking to my mom about this yesterday. I wish land wasn’t so damn expensive out here. Black folks in places where land is dumbass cheap like $250 for that spot, you should buy em up, form a co-op and create community gardens.
