Vanilla Ice's song only became a hit because he sampled an actual great song. As for the dancing, maybe this WSJ article had a point. www.wsj.com/arts-culture...

In FF: First Steps’ favor, it didn’t subject Sue to a scene like this. I’m not sure if the childbirth scene is better or worse. Husband, brother, and male family friend as midwives? Awkward. www.slashfilm.com/2046981/jess...

I'm watching WABC local news in NYC, zero mention about the testimony. Plenty of hype for "New York Rockin' Eve," though.

So, Asians are off the hook? Actually, this makes me think of the movie “Bushwick” (2017). Right-wing secessionists from Texas attack Brooklyn and end up in a shooting war. Dave Bautista captures one and asks why the attack. The answer: Brooklyn was full of minorities, they thought it’d be “easy.”

Even if the reporter did include the information and connected the dots better, chances are the NYT editors toned it down, anyway. “Whitewashers R us.”

So, speaking up on behalf of the victims of an ongoing ethnic cleansing isn’t solemn and spiritual? I guess NBC News defines “solemn and spiritual” as “speak in generalities without naming names.” Time for a new dictionary.

If nothing else, it made me look up the picture. Turns out it's from 1956, the buildings are located in downtown Manhattan. The event was set up to commemorate Easter by some Wall St. companies, not the government. www.snopes.com/fact-check/n...

Well, to this DOJ, their boss and his rich buddies are the true victims, so they sort of complied there. And their boss and his buddies are in so many of the documents that they weren’t able to meet the deadline. A team of 200 complicit lawyers can only do so much.
