It is perspective correction + the algorithm SwiftScan on iOS uses that is made for making photographed images look like they are scanned, upscaled + post-processed it (highlights/shadow/brightness).

That said, when the bad thing is "there won't be any work", it breaks the satire.
That misses the point: It's that our system would never allow full automation and that if it did, we would be worthless.
That's the worst about it: even in fantasy, we can not escape this learned thinking.
