I was a giant nerd long before it was cool. Words, books, movies, musical theatre, all things 1st Amendment, and Oxford comma. You can find my inner child chasing fireflies. Adult me is working hard not to be defined by work.
What if we kept gender-affirming healthcare and instead outlawed watching videos in public without earbuds or headphones?

Transgender, nonbinary, and genderqueer people are among the bravest, most resilient, and most authentic in our society. Whether you choose visibility or quiet existence today and every day, I honor you and promise to continue fighting for your rights and existence. #transgenderdayofvisibility

Your ability to inform people about their legal rights is protected by the First Amendment. Full stop.
Know Your Rights | Talking to People About Their Rights | ACLU
You have the right to share truthful, lawfully obtained information about law enforcement and tell people about their legal rights—even if they’re in trouble. You can also advocate for changes to laws...

Dear Blue PACs: 1) Stop texting me to sign a petition when what you really want is a donation. Our side is for truth and transparency. 2) Show me you are all working together for a common cause. Fractures will not help us overcome this catastrophe. Your friend who really wants to help, NC

Four deadly plane crashes in four weeks. Thank goodness the acronyms are no longer gender neutral. That will be such a relief to grieving families and a boon to understaffed air traffic control teams.
So after promising to focus on safety, they’ve gotten right down to work… on gender terminology?

If JD hadn’t forgotten all his Con Law, then maybe Liz wouldn’t have to school him like a 1L.
JD Vance - If you believe any of the multiple federal courts that have ruled against you so far are exceeding their statutory or Constitutional authority, your recourse is to appeal. You don’t get to rage-quit the Republic just because you are losing. That’s tyranny.

Vance and Vermeule beg the question when they say federal judges can’t block legitimate acts of state : the point of having unelected judges is so that *whether* acts of state are ‘legitimate’ “can be decided by someone other than the people who are undertaking them.”

Too bad there’s not a better way to spend $15 million on education in FL. Or simply in FL. (Tech company is MD-based.)
Florida to spend up to $15 million on school material review technology for DeSantis laws
Transparency or censorship? Florida is spending millions on a new tool for the public to review and object to school instructional materials and books.
