Netflix, when I get my hands on you…
“We were developing Ember in Grease Pencil for Blender,” Pablos said. “Our goal was to put a free 2D animation tool out there that you would choose even over the other paid options.” The team had reached an advanced prototype when Netflix pulled the plug. “We got canceled before we finished, so we published the version that we had. Clean-up (or Tie-Down, I honestly don’t know which one) is kind of a tedious process, but it has helped me make fixes from my rough animation to make it appear more consistent, as you see here.

The blue pencil marks are from the rough animation btw.
