Excited to share our new paper! Working with Ben has been fantastic (so much to learn), and applying active inference is always thrilling!

Hope you enjoy the read!

Trust in technology: Do you ever actually double-check Google Maps, or do you just hit Start and follow?

I now wonder about the relationship between cognitive offload and trust. Specifically calibrated trust.

Am I going to trust it so much to drive into dangerous situations? Any examples?

Journeys in the mountains are interesting.

With google maps we are used to frequent updates to the distance of our destination

In hikes is like: 50 mins, and then no other sign. You have no idea at which point of your journey you might be after.

All is left is trust and sweat

Blessed by nature.

Mountain trails are as good as mindful walks!

Funny how life keeps proving that progress doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful. Bit by bit, step by step—before you know it, you’re somewhere amazing.

Smoking a cigarette, she says "why are you smoking?". You feel annoyed with her.

On second thoughts, you're annoyed by your behaviour. You know she's just right.

There’s renewable energy ads and there’s mother**cking wind farm ads. This, blissfully, is the latter.

What are the best practices to publish null results in psychology? Which journals accept them? @phdvoice.bsky.social
