I’m a father, husband, (slow) runner & historian. My PhD on politics of Irish food supply 1895-1923 was funded by Universities Irl., DCU, & Research Irl. My local & family history interests focus on Slane, Co Meath and Raheny Heritage Society, in Dublin.
All done! My PhD thesis now lodged in DCU. Fab supervision by Dr Daithí Ó Corráin. Tks for funding by DCU, Irish Research Council & Universities Ireland. Great times with staff & students at DCU School of History and Geography. I printed just 49 sheets of paper during my four year research journey!

Reminder! When you visit the Military Archives, you can pick up a free copy of our latest MSP Archive publication, A Very Hard Struggle! It's a lovely book edited by Catriona Crowe and Anne Dolan that explores various social themes of the archive.
