Of course, UNC Chapel Hill AAUP nailed this in its April 2025 statement: "Not merely a bureaucratic trainwreck, the SCiLL is intellectually deficient and represents a gross political incursion into the curricular operations of our campus." unc-ch-aaup.org/scill

UNC-Chapel Hill administrators have removed a student- and community-created mural depicting Palestinian resilience from Hanes Art Center. NC AAUP & UNC-Chapel Hill AAUP call on the Chancellor & Provost to restore the mural and publicly explain how the decision to remove it was made and by whom. 1/3
