Did the fall of the Berlin Wall speed up the entry of neoliberalism into Danish politics? And what can we learn from this event on how politicians use foreign events to reshape national discourses? Happy to see this article out in @jeppjournal.bsky.social together with Martin B. Carstensen. (1/4)
Pleased that this article is now in @cpsjournal.bsky.social with a volume number as well. Find it below if you want to see how politicians exploit foreign revolutions in the search for voters, or want to know how Denmark responded to communist revolutions of the 1910s
Thrilled to have the first article of my PhD published in @cpsjournal.bsky.social. Focusing on Denmark in the 1910s, the article shows how democratic politicians use foreign revolutions opportunistically to attract voters. (1/4)

New paper out in @risjnl.bsky.social! 🚨

I explore the everyday foundations of structural power in the international system and advance a new theoretical framework that reconceptualizes the state as a mediator between the two levels.

Time for a short thread! 🧵👇

Peter Navarro, the man behind the Trump tariff thinking, has more than 5000 Google Scholar citations. His yearly citations have been going down for some years but perhaps he can turn the trend given recent events

As a junior scholar, there is something great about finding typos in seminal articles of highly succesful scholars. Especially ones like this one, found in the article's conclusion. If they made it through anyway, perhaps I can as well!

(Or perhaps it isn't a typo?)

At Trump (og konen) bruger præsidentembedet til at lancere en krypto-memecoin for simpel selvberigelse er simpelthen too on the nose for den tid, vi lever i. Krypto, memes, milliardærers rentier class-styre, all in one. Sådan et symbol, som historikere kan hive frem om årtier
