So a wondrous new technology (or more accurately, a kleptomatic bullshit generator) that does the writing for you is not remotely helpful. Nobody asked for it. What would be more helpful would be if the big publishing companies paid us more and weren't so predatory or inscrutable in their practices.

Oh totally! Then if you like consuming stuff about sex, go forth and write your own! Like. I cannot shapeshift into a wolf, but that does not stop me from writing about werewolves. Sex is exactly the same way. (More serious example: I've never punched anybody, but I still love writing fight scenes.)

A) where are everyone's bodies in space? B) track emotions over the course of the scene. Something needs to evolve in every scene you include, and sex scenes usually mean feelings. C) Good sex scenes are exchanges, where each character responds to what the other does.

It's okay to not include things that gross you out if you are sex-repulsed. It's okay to get really wild and weird too! You can couch everything in metaphor if you don't want to talk about body parts. Just make sure to keep track of a few things.

Fellow ace here! Don't be afraid! But do think very hard about why you want to write the scene. What is it doing for the characters? How does it advance their relationship? What emotions dominate the scene? On the more ace-y side of things, consider your own feelings about sex. (...)
