It's really depressing to me that the attacks on trans people are the only issue Schiff and Padilla haven't even mentioned in their pressers and releases. Declaring that an identity doesn't even *exist* and using language like "mutilation" is literally pre-genocidal shit IMO.

I feel you. I am down 16 pounds since the fires on Jan 7th. I was starting to recover a bit of appetite last week, but a touch more personal bad news landed yesterday morning and it vanished again.
Otoh, I'm still almost 20 above the top of the healthy BMI for my height, so perhaps a silver lining
