Correct, the pitch for RE4 "Castle" would involve Leon running around an ancient castle which served as Umbrella's headquarters, in which he would find and work with a girl and her pet dog. This was rejected and was originally going to be reworked to be Clock Tower 4 before becoming Haunting Ground.

Metroid Prime 1 is incredible, and I've heard great things about the remaster, but honestly just playing Prime Hack (totally legally of course) is also a phenomenal way to experience it
