#30DaysWild Day 29: Spent a couple of hours in the garden digging in two posts, ready to install a Washing Line Bird Feeding Station. I have temporarily set up the standard feeders whilst I wait for the posts to set.

#30DaysWild Day 24: My wildlife moment of the day was somewhat unexpected today; as I was replacing the light fitting above the front door, only to find a moth was using it as a shelter from the recent rain.

#30DaysWild Day 22: This gang of juvenile robins have been together in my garden for over a week.

#30DaysWild Day 18: Installed my freshly painted squirrel picnic bench in my garden. Most birds are currently avoiding it but this magpie was more brave.

#30DaysWild Day 17: Another old project that resurfaced during the house move was my squirrel picnic bench. So I have dusted it off and given it a paint so I can add it to my new garden tomorrow.

#30DaysWild Day 15: Setup an extra hedgehog feeder at my parents. Unfortunately the camera is out of action, so that will be a project for another time.

#30DaysWild Day 11: after I partially mowed the lawn yesterday, it was good to see a hedgehog still happy to use my feeding station. Then in the afternoon I had a magpie appearing to sunbathe on my lawn.

#30DaysWild Day 6: retrieved this DIY auto-refilling water bowl from my parents, where it was left during my house move. It's now setup on the patio, ready for hedgehogs and birds to use.

#30DaysWild Day 2: a hedgehog visiting the hog feeding station in my new garden. 🦔

This garden is supposed to be dog safe, yet this hedgehog still found a way in. I am still to add official hog friendly passage ways to the garden.

I have been feeling a bit rough this week. So I decided to go outside and get the trimmers to remove my beard. It's been many years since I last shaved it all off.

The main thing I will miss from my old house is the pond. Let's hope I can get one in at my new house soon. #WildlifeGarden

Although #NationalNestboxWeek finished on Friday; I have just thrown together a couple of quick nestboxes to replace 2 that I have taken down this weekend.

I wish to take the others with me when I move, so they needed replacing before they were occupied.

Today I patch up an old nestbox hoping it is suitable for at least one more season.

This one required a new roof and removable back plate. Although this fix was 1 day late for #NationalNestboxWeek.
