Today marks 8 years since the Grenfell Tower fire, when 72 people needlessly died because of corporate greed and deceit.
Every year, I am moved by the resolve, kindness and humanity of the community.

Arrived at Basildon Hospital 8pm yesterday: 2 health checks, blood test, CT scan, and meds—turns out it’s a kidney stone. Back home now. No 24hr pharmacy, so meds have to wait. Imagine the cost of all that.

The reality is, Britain economically benefits from immigration and illegal migration is too small to impact most. The communities that blame immigration for decline are actually suffering the effects of 15 yrs of Tory austerity, under-investment in public infrastructure and the reality of Brexit.
