A helpful Discord user informed me that changing your server's vanity URL requires you to re-enter a 2FA code to confirm. Definitely a good security measure against compromised accounts!

One surprising downside to AI is that a lot of clients actually use ChatGPT to create a scope for hiring a Discord community manager, then survive zero followup questions or queries about the scope they've presented to me. It's quite frustrating.

The bot EasyThreads is pretty useful for managing threads and forum posts. Most notably, you can use it to add a tag to every new forum post. Since you can't filter by the absence of tags, this can be quite helpful if you push forum posts through stages of issue resolution.

One of the things I see people get wrong a lot is setting up verification gates on Discord. Don't over complicate your channel permissions! Remember that you can disable permissions on the @ everyone role too. Read more about it in my article here docs.google.com/document/d/1...
