TGIF.

My husband thought Wednesday felt like Friday - and we had a holiday on Monday. So it's our second Friday this week. A few more admin tasks today and then hoping to coast for a few days (as healthcare offices are closed!).
Good morning! Today, I hope the climb uphill ends so that you can coast downhill, riding your wisdom and compassion to a better landing place.

If you haven't had a chance to see this documentary, consider putting it on your 'to play' list. It's well worth the time to watch.

Bring Kleenex and whatever you need when you get angry.
At the United Nations premiere of ”Caregiving,” Charles Katanga of the UN Department of Economic and Social Development reminded us: caregivers are the backbone of health, safety, and connection in every society.

BIG news for Canadians trying to navigate healthcare w/o contracting COVID & other airborne pathogens.

The Canadian Standards Association has opened a draft for updating a standard for public comment. It includes the use of N95s in healthcare.

#NewWork is a term I first read in 'Why We Revolt: The Patient Revolution for Careful and Kind Care' by Dr. Victor Montori.

It's the work that falls to us in an increasingly industrialized and specialized HC system.
