I've just e-mailed Senator Todd Young and called his office. If you live in Indiana and care about what is happening, I would ask you to please do the same. Senator Young is one of a handful of republicans in congress who puts his oath to the constitution before his loyalty to his party or president
Hello Senator Young, I hope you are doing well in these troubling times. I know you are in a difficult situation right now, and I want to encourage you to have the strength and courage to stand up for what you believe in despite whatever political pressure you are experiencing to betray your principles. I would like to remind you of some of your own words from January 2021: “Upon assuming this office, I took a solemn, inviolable oath to support and defend our Constitution, just as I did as a United States Marine. I will not violate that oath.” You also said: “when it comes to the law, our opinions don’t matter. The law matters. I took an oath under God. Under God I took an oath. Do we still take that seriously in this country?” I’m going to level with you, Senator Young. I’m not calling Senator Banks’ office. I live in Indiana’s 3rd district, and I’ve seen enough from Senator Banks question whether his loyalty to the United States Constitution comes before his loyalty to the President. But I know that you are different. My hope is in you. I know you take your job seriously, Senator Young, and I know you take your oath to the constitution and everything it represents seriously. I know you love this country. Please remember your oath to the constitution now, just as you did 4 ½ years ago when a mob sent by the President attempted to overthrow our democracy and threatened to lynch former Indiana Governor Vice President Mike Pence. The lawlessness and authoritarianism has to stop now, and you can stop it, Senator Young. It would only take yourself and small handful of your most patriotic and serious republican colleagues to end the madness. You have the power to put an end to this now, before things get worse. Our freedoms are precious, and democracy is fragile and should not be taken for granted. I implore you to do the right thing and uphold your oath as you have in the past. Took my oldest to his first #Colts game today with my parents, and he had a blast. The Colts lost, because the #Lions are much better, but I've always liked the Lions, so it's fine.

We had a great time together. Just hanging out and getting to know them was a treat, and the opportunity to pick their brains about SE stuff was icing on the cake!

They helped me find a great new spot for interviews which I will DEFINITELY be going back to.
