Nature's Heritage Farm

Family farm in the Adirondacks. Raising meat rabbits, chickens and equines. Focus on education, ecosystem health and community!
I think it's a lot more propaganda, poor literacy and purposeful misinformation being shared by media than it is willful ignorance.

Regenerative AG would help so much with this. Reduce land requirements for raising livestock, and increase soil health and biodiversity. They wouldn't need so much space.

That's too bad. Sounds like it would've been a great option. Good luck finding a meat share

Grown by, farmish, simply local, black farmers network (website), farm fresh, meat suite (? I remember seeing it somewhere...)

If all else fails, do a google search for "farm", "beef farm", "dairy farm" etc and see who nearby seems worth trying. I found some within an hr of Philadelphia that way.
And I had a list of apps here but blue sky ate it, so I'll BBS with that

That can be hard. It took me a while to find the best local farms/resources when we moved too. There's a few apps that track that kind of thing, although all the name escape me rn. Up here in northern NY there's no one on the apps, but in a city I bet they'd be useful. I'll try to look for them.

Is a bidet an option? I'm trying to convince hubby we need one. Also, there's quite a few "green" online TP options that might fit your needs. I still haven't dived down that rabbit hole. 😅

If you eat meat, and have the space, and ability, buying a 1/4 (or more) of a cow or pig is a great deal. Especially, look for a DAIRY farm, as they're usually cheaper but the beef is still excellent.

Are there particular foods you're struggling with sourcing? For me the hardest is all the baking.
