I have a Great Dane who couldn't be AKC papered due to coloring. She was ignored and mistreated. 5 years now & with 6 20mg fluoxetine and 6mg of Xanex/day, she's just barely not jumping out of her skin. But damn if she ain't the sweetest most loving thing to those she trusts. talk about $$.

At this point, I have a rotating background that includes many photos of her. When I see them, I get a warm filling of my heart. But on days like today, it feels the same as the day she passed. And that’s ok. Because in a couple days it will be warm again.

Today is the 3rd anniversary of losing my mother. Had the same issue last night. This morning I went for coffee and she reached out. Radio was playing Every Rose has a Thorn followed by Wayward Son. It never goes away, but it does become less problematic in time.

Right?The city run pantry is only run during the afternoons on weekdays. They have a weekly dinner they do, but nothing on the weekends. Add in lost SNAP benefits. I'll find a way to help, but this has been a big bummer.

And someone put in a FOIA for Flock cameras here, and two different judges determined they are public documents that have to be released when requested. So cops are turning off Flock.

16yo me on the right. This was my Grandfather’s 75th,, Grandmother’s 70th, and Uncle’s 50th birthday party. It was a surprise and I was one of three “valet“ parkers for the cars.

I'm not a fan of listings that say "Remote!" "Salary $X-$Y (Specifier Cities)." I know things are more expensive on the coasts, but a unicorn in Nowhere, Minnesota is worth the same as one in NYC.

How do people not understand by now that "the web" is what makes all those "killer apps" possible? It won't die because it is the skeleton. Destinations will change and adjust based on tech, but the web is still there.
