Ich wiederhole die Frage gerne: Warum hängen da offizielle Accounts von Regierungen, Politiker*innen und Medienhäusern noch rum und verleihen diesem Höllenloch dadurch noch den Anschein von Relevanz und Legitimation?

The scale of the protests in Iran are absolutely unbelievable. Hard to quantify, but I've seen some speculation that this uprising is more significant than the 2023 protests (themselves the largest challenge to the regime since it came into power in '79.)

Genau das erlebt im Rahmen der Stadtbild-Debatte. Habe auf die Ähnlichkeit zum Goebbels-Zitat hingewiesen (ohne Absicht zu unterstellen) und anstatt diese Parallele ernst genommen und wahrgenommen wird (und man das eventuell sogar schlimm findet), hieß es stattdessen: "Aha, Nazikeule!" 🫠
Konservative und Rechte flippen ja immer aus, wenn man zeigt, dass ihre Denkweisen bis in die Worte & Beispiele bereits vor 100 Jahren von Nazis verwendet wurden. So empört sind sie von der Fratze ihres eigenen Denkens, dass sie gar nicht mehr fragen, was das eigentlich bedeutet, sollte es stimmen.
