Possible causes of your problems. It’s a diagram that (sadly) still seems relevant in 2025, so reposting a year and a bit on.

For 3 years, volunteer riders have used our cargo e-bike to collect surplus food. In March alone we collected almost a tonne of food, but sadly, our e-bike was recently stolen, and we now need £2k to replace it. If you can help, we'd appreciate it:

HELP US REPLACE OUR STOLEN E-BIKE
A few weeks ago, our e-bike was stolen from the Oasis Centre during one of our food collections, and we now need to raise £2,000 to replace it.

DWP is using a sleight of hand in its disability benefit cuts impact assessment: Actual increase in poverty is closer to 400,000, not the 250,000 in the impact assessment.

Quick thread explaining why. 🧵1/7

Today's news reminded me of an old debt advice client of mine with chronic depression whose claim for PIP was rejected, and in the letter explaining the decision the DWP said “he lacks motivation and cannot be bothered.”
Over the last decade we've supported countless members of our community to claim the disability benefits to which they're entitled. Under the Conservative government we saw many people wrongly turned down for PIP, and we have a 100% record when challenging these verdicts at tribunal. [1/2]

For first time since 2019 we're at Waterloo Station singing carols non-stop for 12 hours to raise money for Waterloo Foodbank! Not much has changed since then: last year we fed over 27k people. Our target is £10,000 - if you're able to donate, we'd appreciate it:
