Or the hold your nosers could vote their conscience for once and make an undeniable statement about where the country actually stands.

Either way, I don't know why you're so obsessed with how I exercise my rights, so I will be disengaging from this pointless back and forth.

So is she saying he's physically incapable of helping anyone?

Do what you want... I would not endorse inventing dirt to throw at them, but I would also not endorse strategic silence when they deserve calling out.

There are good candidates every year, but the major parties don't nominate them because capitalists have no interest in fixing capitalism. Read the ballot and vote your values. If the Dems lose because of a bunch votes to the left, maybe they'll stop acting like their missing votes are to the right

We keep electing coyotes to make our chicken coops safer.

People can vote for whichever candidate they want to win. If that's him, great. Just don't act surprised when they "don't have the votes" to enact meaningful change and they hand the government back the the GOP without making anything better but somehow getting richer.

How about fighting to make healthcare free like the 1st world nations do? Can the Democrats please stop expecting praise for half measures? You're going to acquiesce most of your plans to GOP BS anyway, so why not start from a place of ambition?

He legitimately scares me, and I really feel like he's trying to ride an anti-Trump wave to consolidate his own personal power. I think he and Trump are the same and only care about finding the fastest route to personal gain, and will go through whoever they need to to get there.

I know we have a common enemy right now, but I don't think we see him as an enemy for the same reason. He gives me the political ick...

Well, yeah, it's in the name, and names of political movements/parties/countries are always accurate! If they were fascist, they would be Nafis.

Also, it's not a quid pro quo agreement unless someone actually says, "this is quid pro quo."

If no one is playing sports, what will they gamble on?
November 6, 2025 at 2:36 PM
I'm reading that right now too! Very into it

Somebody needs to actually enforce that, or the rules will continue to be whatever he says they are.

Trump threatens to uphold the American tradition of actively destabilizing a "non-capitalist" government in order to prove that non-capitalism is unstable.

It is not "outwitting" the 22nd Amendment to just ignore the Constitution, knowing that no one has the spine to stop you.

I firmly believe that maybe most MAGA voters simply haven't figured out that they're actually anti-capitalist because they've been indoctrinated to well.

(*everything is relative)

However, their argument is, "let's go back to segregation," rather than the "Left's" argument of, "maybe there shouldn't be a poverty percentage."

This is probably the main difference between the groups. "Stop hurting me" vs "stop hurting us."/

Understanding that it's sound strategy doesn't change that it sucks to watch. People aren't buying tickets and cable packages to watch the games biggest player not swing the bat.

To a die hard fan or to the players maybe, but not to the league. It has happened repeatedly that a team finds a strategy that makes perfect sense strategically but bores or annoys the audience, and the league steps in and says, "nope. That's against the rules now."
