They're largely now considered hallmarks of AI-generated writing: both overused by LLMs and inconvenient for humans to type.
I still like to use them where appropriate, and I've taken to using an AutoHotkey shortcut to do so.

Anaglyph 3D might not be the most cutting-edge tech for stereoscopic viewing, but it does have a place in providing a low-cost, easy to distribute 3D experience.
