The ONLY thing in the book that feels contrived to me is Vin falling for someone. I didn't think she should, and definitely not for him. Admittedly I've never been a teenage girl so I don't know but neither has Brandon Sanderson. Just seems a bit forced.

I'd say Sazed is my favorite character right now, and a dislike for Kelsier has been growing for about 3 chapters now. Marsh seems like the better brother.

I think the excerpts before chapters are either exactly what I predicted them to be back in chapter 9, even though it feels like just now (21), he's getting around to revealing what they are.
