Just found out Graham Norton is from the Republic of Ireland... I would have assumed he was from the UK with how his show interviews so many UK actors. Couldn't find info on if he's a monarchist or not, but that fascinates me.

Rewatching Voyager and came up on the Fear episode. I watched this as a kid and was way too scared to appreciate it (7 years old?). I was legit blown away by the ending shots this time around. Easily my favorite episode of the rewatch.

Mistborn reading journal (Con Queso [SPOILERS]): Kelsier is just Final Empire Paul Atreides isn't he? Chapter 21 has BIG Lisan Al Gaib energy. He's really going there. Sanderson practically said "plans within plans" too, except it was "plans beyond plans".

Mistborn reading journal (no spoilers): just finished chapter 21 and I'm just amazed at how well put-together this story is. There really are layers that all complement each other. Sanderson does things so effectively you don't even realize what he's doing unless you're really well read.

Just finished chapter 13 of Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. I've been reading a lot lately, and I rarely read more than ten pages out of a book at a time, but this one just has me GOING for it. The prose is helping me comprehend and retain more than I have in a long time.
