🎩 - I hope you're getting into the swing of things because the new light magic seems to be!

🔖 - Fling is early teleport magic that takes into consideration the unit and their targets position! The farther the caster is, farther the target warps!

🥼 - Tester had trouble tracking affinities. So I worked on new attack effects for the mini overlay to help convey the damage dealt to units.

⌛ - I don't know why it took me so long to implement this as it was finished in an hour. 😅

🗺️ - Highlighting with the cursor now shows moves! Along side that, Clicking enemies shows their range so you can keep an eye on slippery enemies!

Put together a new "Attacked Rigged" property to have the tutorial follow along correctly.
Hard to teach the player how to trade and use healing items if they are at max health. 🤣

⏩ - Tightened the Fast Forward button on enemy phase, should now rapidly speed through most events when held.

In case you are doing speed-runs, have serious patience issues or want to see the enemy defeat your army at breakneck speeds! 🎳

Currently making more permanent Player, Enemy and Ally Phase notifications. The plan is to slide it in with a sound effect then slide them out. 📣 🔔

The scoundrel is now my favourite sprite I have made! 🎨

These unique infantry units lack the ability to attack, but their swiftness allow them to counter fast and hard. With their nimble dexterity locked chests and doors won't last!

Pro Tip: If you ever find yourself overwhelmed by the enemy army. You can use the advanced strategy of holding F2 and killing all the enemies on screen via debug cheats. 😎🤡

I can't believe after a year I only made this debug tool today... 🤦‍♂️

I've been creating a new forest terrain sheet as I was not happy with the previous individual sprites, This version should allow me to paint multiple tiles into lovely linked chains.

Still not 100% done, but progress has been made!

Been playing around with the idea of being able to run around camp in between missions to manage and have conversations with your army. Made a rough little prototype and I can see the potential.

Tweaked Shader makes it really simple to hot swap out colours, I am playing around with the idea of making the players army all their character colours. 🎨

With an option to switch to "Classic Mode" for Blue vs Red in the menus. 🔵🔴

Manually going through JSON lines to create the dialog is a bit of a pain. So I created an editor! Should soon be able to just load the conversation file up and tinker it on a second screen! 🥵

There we go, now we blink and mouth words! 👀👄

In the script's dictionary key all I have to do is add a record and I can change the way the character's mouth moves and eyes act! Almost completely done creating the player side system. 🎉

The conversation event system is now more robust, feels better now... 😌

📦 - Speech boxes are resizing to text with a maximum of three lines!
💬 - Tails track the speaker, They also follow during movement in the conversation!
