I'm irrationally proud of this fruit tray I prepped for a family get together. I am sharing to for clout/external validation.

Pork Milanese with leftover pizza topping pasta (creamy tomato ricotta). This is the first attempt at pan frying anything...and the oil temp needs to some adjusting up next time. My son loved tenderizing three pork loins. 8/10

Tacos El Olvido in Kearns is terrific. Asada: Fantastic. Al Pastor: Sublime. Handmade tortillas: Elite.

I'm sitting here contemplating whether I should order another plate...

Upgraded to a high protein flour from @kingarthurbaking.bsky.social and kept everything else the same. Best texture yet. It's ridiculously easy and delicious.

Are these the easiest biscuits I have ever made? Yes.

Are these the tastiest biscuits I have ever made? Also, yes.

h/t @robotshane.bsky.social for the cast iron skillet these were baked in.

A bit better result today. I upped the water by 10g, but it didn't ferment as long as I would like as today's schedule was hectic in the afternoon. #bread #baking

Anyone on here know how to achieve larger bubbles in my bread? This was the recipe I used:

425 g AP flour
11 g sea salt
1.5 g dry active yeast
355 g warm water

Fermented 18 hrs at room temp

Hooded mergansers aren't very common in Utah, but this pretty little lady has been busy scooping up little fish in the creek outside the house today.
