3/ "Even if the U.S. were at war with the traffickers, an order to kill all the boat’s occupants if they were no longer able to fight 'would in essence be an order to show no quarter, which would be a war crime,' said Huntley, now director of the national security law program at Georgetown Law."

Oh man I just can't imagine that eternity. One of my earliest aviation community memories is all the spouses in an aviation regiment getting together for mutual support after first word of the Big Windy 25 crash in '05. I hope families waiting on news can find similar support systems tonight.

Were you the one who shared the article from a pilot's spouse about all the times they had to wait around to find out if their spouse was the victim of a crash? I scrolled back to late Jan and early Feb on your feed but couldn't find. Just thinking back to it while watching the local coverage here.

ICE arrested comedian Robby Roadsteamer for singing a parody of Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” in a Jeffrey Epstein the Giraffe costume outside their facility.

He sings “If you hate brown people / and you are a Nazi” and ICE thugs grab him and drag him into detention. No violence—just speech.
