You're welcome to your beliefs about society, tech or whatever but kids are dying from preventable diseases and the people responsible use this type of language manipulation to excuse their role in it. In that light you shouldn't be surprised that your redefinitions get challenged.

The good thing about belief is it can be to you whatever you want or need it to. The problem with language is, for it to serve its purpose, it can't. Words mean things. You can believe whatever you like but "science" doesn't mean what you ascribe to it.

Nope, it's not simple it's correct. Science is not belief. People come the their beliefs on whatever way they choose too and those beliefs may or may not align with the scientific understanding of the day but that doesn't make science a belief system.

Huh? Science isn't a form a belief its a system to explain natural phenomena that corrects over time. It's the reverse of belief, requiring proof and discarding ideas if they can't be supported. A "quite normal person" can believe whatever they like, you posting this happened because science works

<quickly looks up Pametto recipe> indeed yeah, quite similar. The one I made the other night was 2 Jamaican Rum to 1 Vermouth with a dash each of chocolate, orange and ango bitters... only real problem with it was that it seemed to evaporate easily so was forced to make a 2nd one...

Right? I don't recall now from where I got the tip but it's probably close to a tie between pizza dough and chicken/turkey shredding for top uses of the stand mixer with the runners up not even all that close

It’s a mix of flour and water with yeast that ferments for a day or so before incorporating into the rest of the dough ingredients. It brings in a bunch of fermented flavors kind of like using a sourdough starter but with less work

It works great in the smoker, put the base station by the smoker and can track progress from inside the house plus its predictive cook times are usually pretty good and makes timing other dishes a bit easier
