Turkey soup with dumplings. Trying to keep the saturated fats down so no animal fats outside the baked turkey breast. Came out really nice and the averna Negroni was pretty nice too

Bit of cooking over the weekend. Made some chile miso salmon and did some bread baking for the first time in a long time. Bread turned out decent but the house smelled fantastic :)
Cocktail lurking behind the salmon is a rumhattan (is there a better name for this?) which was pretty nice too

Bit of cooking over the weekend. Made some chile miso salmon and did some bread baking for the first time in a long time. Bread turned out decent but the house smelled fantastic :)

Another ski day with kid#1, who is doing instructor in training. After skiing we made beans and enchilada. Red sauce was homemade for the smoked turkey ones, green salsa came out of a bottle for the shrimp ones. Great meal after a day spent outdoors. Stand mixer to shred turkey is a great hack. 🍽️🎿⛷️

Cod fritter, saffron yogurt sauce, slaw and picked red onion… nice way to use some leftovers 🍽️

Did a thing… opened one of the green stash bottles to make a last word. Not the biggest maraschino fan in the world but still enjoyed this one. 🍸

Pizza night! Another go round with a poolish based dough and it’s working well. Stretches out nicely, great flavor and quite workable 🍽️

Pizza night the other night! Tried a new poolish based dough that turned out really nice. Faves were the sweet potato with feta dressing and we smoked some turkey thigh for a pulled turkey and onion pizza that was really nice too. 🍽️
