I really like experimenting with old lenses. Have fun with it!

Unlike my Nikon cameras (which I use for work) I bought my Fujifilm cameras to "play" with so I never felt the urge to buy dedicated Fuji lenses (I only have one). Instead, I use old pre-digital Nikkor lenses (which also fit my Nikon cameras). They're a lot of fun and I love the results.

All photos taken with a Fujifilm X-T10 and a Nikkor 50mm 1.4 manual focus lens.

The rest of it is still in pretty good condition considering this camera dates back to 1954. Now all that remains is to see if it can take photos. I've got a roll of 400 speed monochrome film in there so now I just have to see how it turns out. Even if it doesn't work, it's been fun to work on.

polished the metal lens cap, and hand-cut and replaced the leatherette on the front panel as it was brittle and cracking. Will replace the rest of the leatherette when I have time but there's no rush.

So far, I've removed and cleaned all the lens parts (some pitting on the taking-lens but not too bad), cleaned and polished all of the other glass parts, hand-cut and replaced the focal mirror,

All the parts move smoothly, the shutter fires, the shutter speed dial seems to work, the aperture opens and closes, the film counter and self timer work correctly, even the light meter still works!
