Losers mad at Assassin's Creed Shadows over romances they, as the player, chose to engage in. I'm mad that Ubisoft made the physical version useless because of an arbitrary online unlock for the game. We are not the same - be mad over something substantive, like Ubisoft shitting on ownership.

Note that this is not industry standard on console, not even for AAA games. This is just Ubisoft giving one last "fuck you" to the consumer. Mind-bogglingly stupid self-sabotage on a game that could decide the fate of the company.
Assassin's Creed Shadows is indeed cooked from a preservation perspective. See PS5 screenshot.
Artificial blocker (online DRM) before you can use the disc build. Once you pass that online check-in you can play the 1.0 disc build (~85 GB install size).

Probably just Millennial nostalgia, but I kinda miss the stereotypical 80s, early 90s RPG protagonist now. Curly blonde hair, jawline carved from stone, dumb as a box of rocks but gets by on luck, plot contrivance and allies carrying... Bring back that design!

Man, spent too much time hunting monsters today. Gonna take a break and... run around the biomes and collect materials. What can I say? I love collecting things. Might even do some fishing.

Capcom SELLING players customization tickets for Monster Hunter Wilds is disgusting, and the fact that I haven't seen many people calling this shitty behavior out is a depressing sign of how tame gamers have become. This is something that should just be a free option in the menu.

I still maintain that Veilguard was a solid 8.5/10, a very good game, and the game was killed by loser incels crying about one cringe scene.

Yeah, I can wait on the Switch 2. Literally the only time I played it in 2024 was when the power was out for a day at my house and I went to my parent's house. Don't like most of the exclusives and play the multiplats on PS5/PC, like any sane person would. Needs more Fire Emblem.

Shame that NISA isn't doing their own collector's edition, those are some of the best in the industry for the price point. We'll see what LRG is offering.

Path of Exile 2 is many things, but one of them is not a Diablo 4 killer. Ostensibly the same genre, the two games play and feel very different, and PoE2 does nothing to satiate the occasional Diablo craving I get.

Booted up Soul Reaver remastered on PS5. Took all of five minutes for years of muscle memory to return. God I love this game.

This might be tough to swallow for Final Fantasy fans, but Persona has been a better JRPG franchise for nearly 20 years now and it's not particularly close.
