Definitely. I suspect (liberal) millennial parents are on avg more attuned to not reinforcing the gender binary (vibes + anecdote + describing myself) but I also think there may be a large stable core of more conservative parents, and those folks’ kids are more likely to adopt those attitudes

If California HSR weren’t an even more dramatic example of the same thing, the H St streetcar would be a contender for the canonical example of how rushing into the first phase of an ambitious project w/o adequate planning and capacity can destroy support for subsequent phases and derail the project
