This is "Moonlight Migration" by Christine Hartman. She is in the Northern California Quilt Council. In the center block you can see the Sandhill Cranes that inspired this quilt. The cranes are taken from her photo of them flying north at night.

Roselle Crockett of Winterville, GA made this original design quilt that she named "Boho Ficus Elastica." Please notice that Roselle duplicated the shape of the leaves in the background. It's reminiscent of a shadow effect. I also love her choice of black & white fabric for leaf edges.
