Long-time homeowners get very out of touch with market rents. I try to put it in context this way, at least in Princeton. The average property tax bill is 20,000 year, or around 1,600 a month, and you haven’t even started paying for the building yet.

Would be interesting if a local reporter could track down the landscaping firm that employed them. Do they have any comment? Better yet, track down the homeowners who benefited from their labor. Ask them what they think about the people who tended their yards being imprisoned?
