Soooo, Canadian and non US AUTHORS ONLY... I started an 18+ discord for authors to write together, listen to music, share resources, and hang out.

It's new 👉👈 so it's not perfect, but uhm... does anyone want to join? Link your IG, and I'll send you the link if you're interested. 🥺 thx

Soooo, doubling down on your "hot take" when it's barely lukewarm and offensive is absolutely sad. Calling an entire genre anti-intellectual and then get sassy about it when people try to educate you about why you're wrong is pathetic. Just say you're a pick-me and move on. 🙄 #BookSky #BookTok

Human beings deserve human rights.

All of them.

Even ones whose governments and/or representative bodies commit atrocities.

Even ones who--yes-- commit atrocities themselves.

You don't lose your right to human rights, ever.

That's why they're called inalienable human rights.

I keep coming back to Making Love With The Land by Joshua Whitehead. Something in the book really grabbed hold of me today. The romanticization of Indigenous trauma such as Residental Schools and MMIWG2S is published time and time again, but Indigenous triumphs and joy are shoved to the back. 1/2

Reading books without proper editing is giving me reading fatigue. Please hire line editors. Before you hire them, ask for samples. If they do shotty work, do not pay them. #BookSky #Bookstagram #Booktok

I just love how thin my walls are. My neighbours are a couple of young men, who never stfu when they're home. Guys... you do not need to scream at each other. 😔
