White Oleander is a story about a toxic mother daughter relationship it's written in prose, but it's very poetic sounding in how it's written. It's a sad story but so good. The movie is also incredible and holds up to the book imo.

I'm glad I live here 🇨🇦 but being neighbours to the big scary concern is wild.

I'm at the point of taking it one day at a time and trying to ensure my mental health doesn't plummet to the basement. The news cycle is making this difficult, though. 😳

Well, if that's the definition, then I guess I'm okay. Phew!!

I found that by doing that, it took some of the mental load off of me, and I was slowly able to process things as I needed instead of having to constantly repeat a list in my head every 15 seconds to keep everything straight. When something got done, I pulled down the note.

I remember losing track of time, too. Just chunks of my day were missing. I still do it sometimes, honestly. It's definitely a lot better now; I try to do things that help, though. I used to have post-its up, all over my apartment, to tell myself to do stuff or give myself reminders.

Memory stuff SUUUUUUCKS!!! I used to have a 30-second memory. I felt like Dory. I had very little retention for anything. It wasn't due to a brain injury but severe anxiety and depression. Give yourself grace; you're doing your best, and that's what matters. ❤️

If he wants to be poor, he can pass over the cash to so many people who would take it and do so much good with it. All he does is cause people trauma and harm.

This continues to happen, and that's all I see people wanting to read. Indigenous triumph and joy DOES exist. Please interact with that content because Indigenous people are more than just trauma. They need their joys told, too.

I legit read books for their covers. So pay artists. All of them. Simple as that. Also, AI can fuck off.
