Seriously, flood your representative’s phone lines today. You don’t have to be kind about it either. They are fucking us over and need to know we demand action and accountability.

Album recommendation for the day: Bonnie 'Prince' Billy's 2003 "Master and Everyone." In the mood for acoustic, mix of sad and joyful, great harmony? I haven't listened to this album in 10+ years, and it's feeling right today. [It's not available on Spotify.] www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...

In honor of David Lynch, I think we should all aggressively subvert the Chekhov's Gun Principle and just make ridiculous art full of meaningless, extraneous, and confusing details. Let's be absurd and horrifying together. I'm serious - let's just get freaky and free.

I saw the Room Next Door yesterday and I have a question for Almodóvar fans. First, I thought it was beautiful. Every frame was a piece of art. But I don't understand the dialogue style. It seemed like the actors were reading lines rather than acting. Is this a stylistic choice & if so, why?

My Spotify Wrapped is an homage to my emotional roller coaster of a year, my age, and the fact that I am the parent of a teenager, which is to say Chappell Roan came out on top.
