Londoner. Mo Salah’s birthday twin. Eat, sleep, go to the gym, repeat. 🇬🇾🇯🇲🇬🇧
I imagine they’re trying to calm things down.

If Salah wants to leave, he should leave. If he wants to stay, he needs to be more considered in his actions.

Salah needs to be careful what he wishes for. He sounds like he wants to stay, so if that’s the case, he needs to act like it. Otherwise Hughes and Edwards might actually force him out, if they think his presence is too disruptive now. Calling their bluff like this might not work.

I don’t think this makes things better for Slot at all. It’s been a long time since we’ve had this visible disharmony in the squad. That cannot help him get the results he needs. And he needs a win against Inter.

I think Mo Salah has just told everyone what the problem is at Liverpool. It’s not looking good for Slot now.

Everyone will ask Slot and other players about this now. It’s really disruptive, I don’t know why he’s done this.

But I suppose he’s trying to force Hughes and Edwards’ hands. I think Salah will come back after AFCON. I doubt Slot will still be manager, though.

I wish he hadn’t said this in public but I agree, this is not good. Everyone’s form has looked like a classic “they’ve stopped playing for the manager” since October.

I did say that it looks as if the players aren’t playing for the manager any more and well, here we are.

FSG really have no choice but to come down from their towers and get a grip of this.

Those players clearly need something else because if Slot gets new players and they also go from great to incompetent under Slot, what then?
December 6, 2025 at 7:43 PM
They can clearly do better - if coached to do better.

Something is happening because for a start, I’ve never seen a Liverpool team give away penalties as often as they have this season.

Those allies are not his real friends. His real friends would tell him how much he has messed up, how weak he has been in racism and violent rhetoric. He has appeased it and that is not what a PM should do.

IDS sounded as if this was the first time he’d heard of football.
