lol i am constantly battling people being terrified of me. i don't know what they think i'd do to them, but i end up having to really lay it on thick with some folks to get them to fucking stop already.

move to the middle of the state! the only thing to do is hang around with people, and we're all in each other's business 24/7. i couldn't imagine it before we moved, but it's idyllic as fuck.

I read a lot of hermetic philosophy etc. it's pretty dry if you're not committed to the bit. I recommend DuQuette if people are interested in reading about stuff like that, because he's #1 at making those topics an enjoyable read. I prob have more books by Regardie than any other single author.

I don't let myself feel obligated to finish a book. I read because I like it, and if I don't like the book, there are a million other ones I will like more. My to-read pile is so fucking huge, though, I can't lose time trying to slog through something that's not speaking to me.
