The controllers for the Tournament 2000 are removable. From what I can tell for no other reason than to replace a broken controller, like this one.

Does anyone know the difference, if any, in the two versions of the Tournament 2000 console? Just a cosmetic change? I see nothing else different.

I had this Alien when I was a kid. I took it to school where it had battles with Godzilla. I would love to have another but this one was priced at $450 and was missing the head cover and inner teeth.
