950 years after it was embroidered somewhere in Kent, the world’s most famous tapestry, that isn’t a tapestry, is returning to its country of origin.

I had forgotten how much I used to love creating technical drawings. Here is some of my project work for Aberystwyth Uni - the Great Hall at Ightham Mote, Kent.

Did you know that the famous Sarsen Trilithons were not the first such structure at Stonehenge? There were much smaller Bluestone trilithons too, erected at or somewhere else centuries beforehand. Here is one of the bluestone lintels to prove it.

Great thanks James. I'm retired now, so more time for archaeology. Did you get to knap that flint nodule you found up on the downs? What was the outcome?
