My child, who used to strongly dislike going on long bike rides, joined me on a lovely 1.5 hour bike ride this morning and was very patient with how slow I am now in comparison to him. 😁

First year of college done and we managed to get all but a mirror packed into the car! So excited to have my girl home for a couple weeks before she’s off for an amazing summer adventure!

Just gotta give a shout out to my two amazingly sweet sons! My 15 year old brewed our pot of coffee this morning while I was busy answering a page and just now my 17 year old brought me hot chocolate in my favorite mug!

The funeral service included Galatians 5:22-23: “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” (3/5)

As it seems to go with funerals, this weekend’s services brought together family who hasn’t all been together in a really long time. Bittersweet for sure, but I know my mom would definitely approve of the party that we held in her honor. (2/5)

This past weekend in Minnesota, we celebrated the wonderful life of my mom, who passed away much too soon about 2 weeks ago. There were tears shed, but also much joy and laughter as we shared favorite memories of her and what she meant to each of us. (1/5)
