If you want to learn more about American women's military service, which is under attack right now, #It'sMyCountryToo is a great starting point. There are also at least a hundred books by Post-9/11 Women #Veterans, so crack one open, support your fellow writers, and get out there.

#AskAnAuthor As someone who has never served in the military, the challenge and the joy of writing #KeepThemInTheFight is working shoulder to shoulder with my coauthor COL Stokes, who forward-deployed as a Social Work Officer and circulated the FOBs and COPs of Paktia Province.
